1 - You receive our Mortgage offer by post


The letter will include:
2 copies of the mortgage offer with 2 acceptation forms
2 copies of the theoretical repayment chart
An envelope to return the signed mortgage offer

2 - Reading the mortgage offer


Read all the documents very carefull, if you have any questions your branch office will be ready to take your calls.

3 - Wait 10 days


In France, there is a cooling-off period of 10 days, which is enforced by law, and must be strictly respected.
So in fact you must not reply to the bank before these 10 days have passed, and the date frank from the post office is proof that this delay has been correctly respected.
Example :
You receive the mortgage offercooling-off period 1st date of reception at bank
3rd of April(4..5..6..7..8..9..10..11..12..13) = 14th of April

You have between 11 and 30 days to return the accepted offer, from the date of reception.

4 - Each borrower to complete and sign the mortgage offer


  A) Sign your initials at the bottom of each page (in the box provided). You must also sign your initials on the repayment chart.
  B) Sign the mortgage offer and write the phrase ‘lu et approuvé’ (which means ‘Read and approved’).
  C) On the ‘récépissé de la remise de l’offre’; write the date of reception and sign.
  D) On the ‘bordereau d’acceptation’ (mortgage acceptance form); put the acceptance date (beware of the legal delay of 10 days), followed by your signature(s) and add the phrase: ‘Bon pour la somme de……..’

5 - Return a copy of each document in the prepaid envelope


Return a copy of each of the signed documents (the mortgage proposition, the acceptance form, and the repayment schedule), in the envelope provided, together with the original envelope which we used to send you the paperwork. if this is unclead, please don't hesitate to ask!
It is very important that you also return the envelope in which we sent you the proposition.

6 - Keep your copy safe


You are required to keep the second copy safe during the term of the mortgage.
Please take great care to respect the above procedures and formalities, otherwise your project can be delayed.
